I had a thread about the whole thing awhile ago but as things go around here it tends to get burried.
The basic idea was that all weapons had the same relative DPS.
Weapons that had worse DPS typically front loaded their damage in the form of duration, burst or instant shot.
Weapon that had better DPS required you to stay on target longer to get the full damage in the form of sustained or charge.
It was tailored more towards people style of play more so than "different" weapons.
Once of the stipulations I had on these "Named" equipment was that people had to pay R&R on them. (repair and rearm) so they would allow you to customize your mech to better suit your style of play but also there would be a great upkeep and less cbill gain for when you got killed.

UAC20's or RAC20's. Oh the humanity!
well according to this Sarna autocannon specially the caliber part, we can't be sure if the Ac/20 it's a single slug or several slug at once, just we know it deals around 20 Armor points per turn.

This. Variation among manufacturer models would also create a better market and more immersion in BT. If this is your graphic, Carrioncrows, then nice job man.
Carrion Crows has good ideas, I support this, especially with CW. Imagine how immersive CW would be if the planets and manufacturers you control were able to open up the variations of the weapons. Allegiances and betrayals opening or closing a weapon from your mercorp or choosen faction.

Sniper
Thumper
In MechWarrior titles such as 4 (i think) and both MechCommanders, Long Tom Arty is what they player has access to. But at 30 tons & 30 crits, using one on a mech seems kinda unrealistic. Sniper or Thumper are smaller than the Long Tom and have never been represented in a MechWarrior title as far as I am aware.
Also,
Thunderbolts have always seemed like they could be fun. I know they have been replaced by the Thunderbolt launchers but something about 1 ton 1 crit 10 damage missiles has always appealed to me.

The intermediate laser is part of someone's house rules. I don't want non-canonical weapons in the game.
I didn't see that part of the Solaris7 website page until you mentioned it. Still, the stats fit in pretty well and it would be balanced fairly well (aside from replacing the MPL, but that's because the MPL needs some buffing). Doesn't seem that bad, especially compared to all the non canon things Mechwarrior games done and the fact that Mechwarrior games are considered non-canon no matter how closely they adhere to TableTop.

You Inner Sphere loyalists have to wait till 3058 (2021 our time) for better tech. Clans, Pirates, and some Mercs only need to wait a few more months for those good 'ol UAC-20's, Heavy Lasers, SSRM6, real ERPPCs, and light weight LRMs.

It depended upon the type of AC/20 used. If you really get in depth, very few mechs could fire a true AC/20 (single slug variety) without having to stop and brace themselves before firing without knocking themselves over. The Hunchback AC/20 fired four AC/5 rounds in quick succession, as can be seen in some of the original MW/BT videos. Even the venerable Atlas had to come to a full stop before firing that AC/20 in the side torso or risk knocking itself over from the recoil of the shot (since it fired a true 20).
