Absolutely a change was made. I've been headshot in two rounds in a row now, and not by seemingly elite players.

Reminds me of Closed Beta when Atlai were headshotted with abandon until they fixed the issue. Well, hopefully it'll get addressed soon.

I dont use atlas, but i have not seen any atlas being head shotted, nor have I been able to pull off such shots
some one should compile some video evidence.

(terrible music and pointless/abrasive special effects optional)

I have been playing since closed Beta and have rarely died from a head shot.. Tonight.. after the patch.. I have died almost ever 2 of 3 games to a headshot.. a few times straight off with no other damage.

I have ghosted many other atlas after I've died. So far I've only seen/experienced the Founders Atlas as having a HUGE!!! head hit box now..

Wow. Not only do they STILL not do anything about Spiders, they make the mechs that Spiders annoy the most easier to hit and kill. Great job, guys. Fml...

Founder's Atlas doesn't get any love. No repaints, no geometry changes and now a borked head hitbox!

PGI updated the atlas model (ballistic/missile on torso : you see what weapons are equiped now) and apparently screw the founder.
It's wierd though because one would believe that every variant of a chassis use the same hitboxes template.

I just confirmed with other friends, it is in fact only the founders Atlas with the issue.

Headshot 4 games in a row in the founders Atlas. Last time i was killed with LRMS to the head. And i just got a nice kit i enjoy on it since i havent used it in ages.

It's a bug, fool. That means unintentional. I've very little in the way of expectations for PGI at this point, but this kind of response is just...asinine.

Except that the Founders mechs use, quite specifically, different geometry (most obvious with the Catapult's nose). Different geometry means different hitboxes.

That actually makes some sense. Rather than loading the new setup with the deformable geometry (which would include new hitboxes), they accidentally load an old geometry for the Founders variant. Hence it logically ends up with old hitboxes and no weapon deformation. Which is the observed situation.

Yep, I forgot to mention my friend was running the founders Atlas, and he has confirmed it is being headshot very easily after yesterday's patch..

He isn't happy.

I have played nearly 2000 matches and had never headshot an atlas (well maybe I have, but not intentionally). I saw this thread, jumped into a match that happened to have a founders atlas in it and promptly head-shotted it without any trouble. I'm definitely not a great shot, and it was certainly way too easy. It needs to be fixed.

I like playing with my Founder's Atlas since it's fun to zombie every now and then. Apparently, the way to kill it now is the same way you need to kill a zombie - with the same amount of ease.
