Many of us purchased Phoenix packages of various levels. I picked up the Thunderbolt level package, mostly because I am moving away from using assaults. Of course I will keep my Atlas' and Stalkers, but unless a major assault mech from my childhood comes on the scene like the Banshee or Cyclops, I don't see myself getting another in the foreseeable future. With the Cbill nerf, and the fact that this also includes 9 mech bays and one month of premium, the value was there for me. Others may have a different idea of what level is appropriate for them.

For estimation purposes, I assumed that the only XL variant is one of the Shadowhawks as shown on Sarna (plus one of the Saber mechs), and that Phoenix mechs are valued here at 1.3 times their standard variant cost. Bear in mind that these are only estimates based on the approximate values of mechs of equitable tonnage and some people may put more or less value upon hero mechs as I have here (I figured 1.3 was fair, 1.5 was too much, and equal value makes no sense at all).

(Value in millions of Cbills):
Locust (20 tons): 2, 1.5, 1.5 = 5 million Cbills
---------------------
Value Locust Package: 5 million Cbills

(Value in millions of Cbills):
Locust (20 tons): 2, 1.5, 1.5 = 5 million Cbills
Shadowhawk (55 tons): 4.5, 6, 8 = 18.5 million Cbills
---------------------
Value Shadowhawk Package: 23.5 million Cbills

(Value in millions of Cbills):
Locust (20 tons): 2, 1.5, 1.5 = 5 million Cbills
Shadowhawk (55 tons): 4.5, 6, 8 = 18.5 million Cbills
Thunderbolt (65 tons): 5.5, 5.5, @7.5 = 18.5 million Cbills
---------------------
Value Thunderbolt Package: 42 million Cbills

(Value in millions of Cbills):
Locust (20 tons): 2, 1.5, 1.5 = 5 million Cbills
Shadowhawk (55 tons): 4.5, 6, 8 = 18.5 million Cbills
Thunderbolt (65 tons): 5.5, 5.5, @7.5 = 18.5 million Cbills
Battlemaster: 7.7, 7.7, 10 = 25.4 million Cbills
----------------------
Value Overlord (Battlemaster Package) = 67.4 million Cbills

Saber Reinforcements: (Wolverine has 1 XL),
Griffin (55 tons):4.5, 4.5, 6 = 15 million Cbills
Wolverine (55 tons): 4.5, 6, 8 = 18.5 million Cbills
----------------------
Value Saber Reinforcements: 33.5 million Cbills

While those are the values of the mechs, you have premium time, mech bays, faction medallions, as well as custom camo and colours, not to mention the Phoenix mechs are the only ones to have the 10% loyalty boost. So this isn't exactly the true value of these packages (except Saber which is fairly close).

This is the mech only value of the packages for those who are looking to purchase these mechs either with the packages or without. The other components have monetary value for sure, but it represents how much in game earnings would be required to purchase the equivalent of these mechs in game. Some values have been approximated for estimation purposes.

So it may be around a hundred million c-bills. Yep, lots of grinding required there if you don't fork over and want all those mechs.

There's always the extras that come with the Hero/Phoenix Variants, some come with XL engines and other goodies that boost the cBill value a little.
