So, After Several Hours of struggling, I got my Victor. Which I love. Now I have my deaths knell and Victor, So I figured I would get one of each weight class, so I went for heavy next.
So, I need your opinions and builds
I would Like either a Brawler or a Support mech, I keep on trying myself, but I can't make anything That pleases me. So, here are the Variants I'm Looking at
Catapult C1 & C4
Cataphract 2X
Orion 1K
Please leave which role it is supposed to play, and sorry for how General the post is.
Thanks Guys,
Reconius

It all depends on how you build them.

It is much better to pick a weapon system or style of play first, then pick a mech that suits it. Do you want LRM's, direct fire, or brawling?

The Catapults are mostly for LRMs, but I guess you could fit SRMs instead and be a close ranger. Not my style, but you could.
The Cataphract-2X makes for a good brawler, but not much else.
An Orion 1-K would mostly be a brawler as well, but could bring some decent LRMs if you wanted. Not enough to be a boat, but ok for a good indirect fire option.

None of these mechs are great for direct fire support (get a Jagermech or Catapult-K2 for that), but if you want a brawler, the Cataphract or Orion would be good choices. Orion is a bit more well rounded, though.
