Wow I posted 3x and so far every time in last 1/2 hour they have been deleted and not even shown in my profile anymore. What's gives.

Anyhow. Again. Spider being the worst and commandos being the still hard but not worst. Lights are just op. They are scout not the forward attack lance like they are playing. Simple crazy quote from pgi made at the opening ceremony an atlas would fear a group of spider. Wrong it takes just one to kill a good group of assaults. Let's not get Into the bashing but here is the fix pgi.

1 speed up LRM's and SSRM they get out run and dodged to easy.
2 ad the great equalizer the SSRM 4 and or 6 pack. Because right now for 10 from a SSRM boat and you barely scratch any mech from the insane spread damage.
3 tweak the SSRM hit locations should be more like 50% ct 15% lt/rt and 5 % for the rest

Just because you haven`t learned how to sweep a laser across their legs you want to rollback a change that the majority of the community wanted for almost a year, and buff a weapon that was never supposed to be effective against lights (LRMs) to be more effective against them?

Not to mention adding in weapons that, at this time, would be clearly OP compared to the alternatives? You want streaks to be available in 6 packs, at 2.5 dmg per missile (current value), fly at over 200 kmh, and hit mostly CT like they used to. Making the streak 6 deal 15 dmg to mostly center torso, all the time, at 1/5 the weight of an AC20, with more efficient ammo usage to boot. And you can mount 6 of them on an A1.

With all due respect, are you completely insane? Streakcats will be very literally onehitting anything under 50 tons more or less every time with a 90 point alpha strike of fire and forget CT seeking missiles. And will only need 2 salvos to core any heavy and most assaults. 3 will be guaranteed to destroy literally anything. :)

We already had a streakpocalypse, we don`t really need another one, especially not one that hits three times as hard.

Spiders are borked, and we know it, as is HSR. But if you can`t cripple or kill a commando with 2 medium lasers, lights are not the primary problem. Commandos are 150KM/H coffins with legs, usually only piloted by people that either don`t know that yet, or by elite pilots that feel suicidal but like the adrenaline of "I`m already dead". :D

But suggesting a change that would essentially patch lights out of the game (because every baby with 2 missile hardpoints would be able to onehit them) and make it "all SSRMs, all the time, for all the mechs" is just fail.
