The fact that most "premades" are in reality "pugs w/TS " notwithstanding....

Yeah because breaking up a 4 man team that you know is in a TS or Vent... or (odds there of)... is just a horrid idea in a battle strat. Messing up a premade group that has increased focused damage power while you still have 12 mechs sounds bad? Hmm... ooookkkkk. Because leaving them as the last 4 standing is better....right? lol... ok.... you go with that. AGAIN, with the mere fact it is a advantage and we know it. Also since while sure they say "Join friends" in the game.. in some simple messages... until they say "Do not pug because we sell the game like this"... and or the ideal of YOU.. owning YOUR mechs... without pinning us down to MULTIPLAYER ONLY type concept....then they need to offer the choice.. HEY nobody wants to take away from the Premade fun... Nope... Hey.. I have been in them and let me say they are much much much easier and fun no doubt about it. You can focus targets and do some serious damage if you play just decent you can be really good in a premade group of 4. BUT.... saying you need to do that every time to be AS EFFECTIVE.. (key words being as effective)... Which if you play decent.. (now mind you not goofing off to see if you can stand on each others head.. but really playing). is much easier then a pug with no clue, no TS or vent, no idea of how you play or what you can do..etc.. (could go on)... you will pretty much have a win if the team is not less then bad. So in short, while we can try to balance only the Lance the whole drop could be. Seeing how imbalanced these drops are is silly. ELO system does not work well and we all know it. Nobody is kidding anyone here. I do think you would have a different game if you had PUG v PUG and all other premade choices playing each other though. That is a fact... not an opinion for sure.
