I'm not sure if someone has already mentioned this... but why can't there be a check box next to the launch button that is default checked to 'Auto Ready'. That way if you are not going to do anything at the start of the match it doesn't change anything for you and sets those players that want to perform an action to basically acknowledge they have plans and set themselves out.

I posted that I thought it should be in the options menu with arm lock and throttle decay, but I like this idea a lot more because then you have a visual confirmation that you'll launch in a ready state and if you switch between pugging and premades you can have it checked for pugging and with a quick unclick on the way to launch you can turn it off to plan for premade drops, if you want.

Not sure why they just didn't do it this way in the first place. It's the most non-invasive way to implement it.
