I had thought that with the last patch each team was required to have a commander, or so it seemed. I know the devs seem to have their hands full but command, omg, is perhaps the worst feature in game and thats a problem.
I wanna throw a few ideas out there to everyone and see what they think.
My first thought is the command screen.. It should be an option that once you zoom in , it stays zoomed in centered on your location... thoughts?
Second, Orders, should be visible through your cockpit. I would assume we have some kind of hud visor on that cand actually show the various commands superimposed on the visor ,direct line of sight, or a directional indicatior to said order<ala the incoming damage indicatior> thoughts?
A reward system for commanders and for following orders. For commanders it should be risk reward based on win loss and other factors so every captain obvious isnt scrambling to be commander. thoughts?
Audio cues... Hello devs... I dont have a ton of gaming exp, but tribes ascend is a hell of alot more entertaining at least being able to say things like "help, gg, no , yes, etc etc" THe same for orders...
FOr the most part i think would improve immersion and gameplay immensely
thoughts?
