The title says it all. Keep making maps like this, it's your best one to date. Expansive, multi-tiered, environments for all different play styles, excellent scenery - truly this is a paradise among maps.
Please, continue making urban maps like this, and give us a few more nighttime variations of existing maps while we wait.

I really like this map. A night time version of it would be sweet.

It'd be nice if we actually got to PLAY in those multi tiered environments though. Every match I've ever played ends up at the Parking Garage.
The pathing layout leaves a LOT to be desired. One team is funneled to the Garage (unless they choose water and get sniped to death), the other team has 3 or 4 approach options. It's a terribly unbalanced map.

But still awesome fun. The garage has a surprising amount of cover, but teams REALLY need to start learning how to withdraw... There is a large ramp on one side that makes an awesome choke point for the team that starts closest to the garage. If things start to go pear shaped, you can pull out and open up new tactical options...
...unless you're in a pug, in which case you either go full ****** and charge (which often works), or split up and die.

Artistically, it is a great map. It has colors, looks believable, and is overall interesting.
Game play, it is pretty good. It is not the most diverse map when it comes to where the fights happen, but there is still good variety and I really enjoy the use of multiple levels in the battle. Canyon Network is about the only other map with a lot of that going on... I guess Terra Therma near the central volcano has some vertical action, too.
Anyway, great map!

Does the crimson tide cycle with the moon or is it a full time deal?

People complain that the battle takes place in a specific location... say epsilon on Alpine Peaks... But as soon as the match starts where does everyone go... LOL Face Palm
If you don't wanna fight in the parking garage then DON'T GO THERE!

I really like this map but the best map??
Not really sure, seems to be some very repetitive choke points.
Mind you think I played the map 3 times since its release.

Agree completely. Complaining that fights only take place in one area of the map is a bit ludicrous. You all choose where to position yourself. I've had fights in several locations on this map so far - sure, the parking garage is fun, but you choose to make it the meat grinder by following the rest of the herd and not talking ahead of time.
People used to walk into the center of Terra Therma like lambs to the slaughter every time - now it only happens half the time because some people have figured out that if you get there slower than the other team you may as well not enter the center at all unless you're ready to pay for it with some mechs.
The other half, well, they'll always run to the same spot. Some people don't like change, or have this crazy self-perpetuating notion that if the whole team doesn't enter Mount Doom, or Epsilon on Alpine, etc., then they're a bunch of noobs. That doesn't mean you have to be one of them though. Set the example, sometimes people will surprise you and follow you for doing something different, and your experience will be that much better because of it.

i understand how people should choose a different location on maps like alpine but if you are the team that startes on the side of the mountain that the dock/parking garage is on then you can try as hard as you want to get to a different location but the problem is if you try going somewhere else you either end up in the water and easily murdered by snipers or at the parking garage again and you can try your hardest to get past those locations but the other team is going to get there first and intercept you. the only way you can get to the large city portion of the map for battle is if the entire enemy team is afk and returns one second before you find them.

I have to agree out off all the maps MWO has out there this map (Crimson Strait) is by far not only my favorite but most interesting with multiple avenues. You have so much to see with top of the mountain, the transit tunnel, the docking, the two city sections, and then you still have the BFI (Big F###ING Island). It s great that you can go all over and see so much while still being able to quickly find the enemy in such a huge map.
