Man, this brings me back.

IS: Uziel (I always thought it looked like the coolest Mech)

Clan: Mad Cat (Timberwolf), Vulture (Mad Dog), and Shadow Cat

Honorable mentions: Mad Cat MKII, and Nova Cat (because they're badass)

Wow! Bishops art actually makes that ugly *** mech look good. I always wanted to like it as it was the evolution of the Marauder, but it just looked so damn ugly.

Before I got into MWO I only had experience with MW2 and very limited time playing MW4: Vengeance so I would probably would have said either Timber Wolf or Marauder. Since I started playing MWO I've developed a soft spot for the Jenner. When I first started playing this game I think the only mech I recognized was the Jenner. I tried a bunch of other mechs as I learned the game but it wasn't until I bought the Jenner that I felt I had found a mech that worked for me. It's fast, the 6 ML loadout works well, has jump jets, looks cute when it's running around, and it has a cool name!

For single mech variant, the Hunchback 4G is my favorite overall. Looks cool with its BFG hunch. But even without it - all the HBKs are neat, including the IIC.

I also like the Marauder. It was kinda my favorite from Mechwarrior 1. (Even though I had a lot of "leggign" success with a Locust in single battle contracts, and the Battlemaster was a must for multi-battle contracts.)

Super hard question, but I think...maybe...Mauler. It's either Mauler or Hauptmann for me. Probably Mauler.

The RFL-3N Rifleman, refitted as an RFL-3C with two AC10/two ML. My main ride in Multiplayer Online Battletech on the GEnie service in the early 1990s. My intro to the Battletech universe.

The Banshee, especially the 3S. My very first mech in TT was a 3E which was surprisingly good. Later ran the 3S and did so for ears. It was the king of level 1 assaults and one of the few mechs that rocked level one tech that I comfortably ran against clans. It's also my most played chassis in MWO.

Strangely ones which grabbed my imagination through their imagery or fluff text - Exterminator for the text and Stone Rhino (Behemoth) for the picture.

Though I will admit the early novel/game coverage made the Phoenix Hawk a favourite too. ;)

Hellstar

What's that, it's a 4/6 95t mech that can fire 4 cERPPCs and not over heat?

The Bushwacker. Love its loadout possibilities, its tankyness, its profile, how it handles. Everything about it just feels right for a 55 ton mech.

Ok for the lore side and Tabletop it has to be the PhoenixHawk. But for the Mechwarrior games its a toss up between the Bushwhacker or the Nova.

Toro.

The Star League took the effort to wipe that mech off the face of the entire galaxy. Only to come back around the civil war era+.
