When enemy mech has just one leg and I am shooting it from that dead leg side, how much damage does remaining leg take?

Zero.
You're sending 40% of your damage to the Side Torso on the same side.
In other words you're wasting your time.
Now if you're trying to hit the "other" leg from the dead leg side... depends on where the leg is... or more importantly where the Server thinks that leg is.

Fine, so there is -zero- damage traversal from leg to leg? I am asking because I always find it hard to identify which leg to shoot when one is gone. Especially when enemies don't move... Should I shoot pelvis area in such case?

Pelvis would get you center torso.
The doll display of the enemy mech is depicted as the mech facing from front and rear. It also has a convenient 'his left, his right' indication in the form of LR, RL.
Think of looking at a person.
His right leg is to your left.
His left leg is to your right.
Now imagine standing behind that person.
Your left is his. Your right is his.
If the left leg is broken, which do you shoot?
About 2 minutes in I blow someone's 'other' leg off after ZeProme announces destroying one.
Maybe seeing someone else do it will help?

One side is likely to be sending smoke clouds up, but for the most part if you are confused as to which leg is which, try to shoot one leg and see which section on the mech's damage display (you should have that mech locked as a target with R) flashes and takes damage. If the side torso takes the damage, than shoot the rest of your guns at the other leg instead.
It really can be easy to shoot the wrong leg. I can't give any solid advice to quickly find the correct leg... Besides to look at their damage display and try to figure it out from that.

Correct. The leg-bone is connected to the side-torso-bone. If you shoot one leg, you can't magically damage the other. The damage you apply to a dead leg will be inflicted to the attached torso at a rate of 40% (that is to say, 60% if your damage is wasted, because you're shooting a dead component.)
The pelvis is an extension of the torso. It is usually CT, but sometimes it can have slivers of ST, and rarely it might have a little bit of leg as well. You can study hitboxes here: http://mwomercs.com/...x-localization/
