1) Perfect weapons convergence is a terrible idea.
2) Ghost heat was a silly way to deal with boated alpha strikes when the convergence was the big issue in the first place.
3) Poor netcode combined with no European servers makes life more difficult for people who live far away from North America.
4) Lack of community warfare
5) Attitude from developers seems disinterested, if not dismissive, of concerns voiced by many players
6) Attitude of developers to community suggestions is usually to tell us how it's a bad idea, without really explaining why, and telling us that they're working on something better.......and then delivering something that's worse, or simply unwanted.
7) Lack of game modes. I'm sick of assault mode, in particular. At least in conquest mode you understand exactly what's going to happen. Current assault mode is annoying with the cap mechanic tied to pointless bases on opposite ends of the map.

Ghost heat is what did it for me but also obsolete LRMs. My first problem was the pay to win mechs, I know some people claim that other variants are more effective but in the end that doesn't matter as long as there are some builds you can't make without spending real money.

Game scale : The maps were not designed from the scale point of a human, thus everything looks to small. trees look like sticks, textures dont go small enough, building and vehicles are not detailed enough, no grass or small foliage etc etc.

Special effect interaction : Weather effects do not interact with the environment or the mechs. Weapons leave no 'lasting' effect on the envirnment.

Overall Fidelity : the graphics do nto feel as polished or emersive as the original MW reboot trailer

Gameplay types: Only 2 types,1 of which has the cumminity split between caping and deathmatch. We need more types with more complex goals.

The next points are all interconnected. Meaning if 1 is addressed it would affect the others.
  • Speed: Some what related to scale, the visual representation of speed is to fast.
  • Gameplay capabilities in relation to speed and hit detection: The game encourages precision aiming yet cannot handle detection of precision aiming in regards to small fast moving objects.
  • Battle duration: Once engaged in combat the duration of an engagment is short due to pin point convergance and high alpha damage. The amount of damage out on a battlefield vastly overcomes the amount of armor, specificaly the armor in center and side torso's.
  • Mechanics: broken and lack of certain mechanics, such as hardpoint limitations to reduce high alpha design loudouts and the following. The heat system and ghost heat are 2 such systems that come under 'broken'.
  • Alpha meta: Allowing multiple 'even' play styles should be encouraged, currently only high Alpha is.
  • Poptardding: JJ's are not being used for their primary purpose, that being navigating difficult terrain. Finite JJ fuel/energy would help alot in dealing with this as it would still allow poptardding but highly discourge it.
  • P2W: using the term broadly and not specificaly as a way to pay for a 'win'. Ability to buy anything related directly to the main gameplay (mechs vs mechs) should be purchasable via ingame currency aswell as rl currency. Such mechs as the Misery are superior to its other varients. Example; 2 identicaly skilled players,1 using a Misery the other another varient, the Misery would win the majority of battles due to better hardpoints available.

ELO system/ putting non-premade groups up against pug teams. Imbalance to the drop match before it even starts.

OPTION needed for people to be able to CHOOSE what type of match they want. CHOICE. Imagine that.

It's less balance, it just needs more of everything, mechs, maps, gametypes and CW.

SSRMs...They dominate light play and seem to get a backhanded buffs constantly through random unnecessary bugs which never get "fixed" on top of normal dmg upgrades...

Only one issue, but it is the cause of so many more. That issue is pinpoint accuracy; more to the point, pinpoint alphas. It is the cause of ghost heat, constant weapon re-balances, "mandatory" DHS, and the quick and easy coring kills. As much as people are going to complain about the removal about pinpoint accuracy it needs to be done, and done in a way to be fair to all players.

All weapons are the same, there's no weapons that would be exciting. Same weapons stock have been ever since I started playing, and all the good one's has been nerfed from usefulness to ****.

MM is straight from hell when playing pre-mades.

There's nothing to play for than killing.

Couldn't agree more with this, this game feels like human sized mech in miniature map just like old japanese godzilla movie, PGI need to learn a lot from the maker of Shadow of Colossus

I can close my eyes on all balance and variety problems but the immersion is simply lacking, weapons do not feel powerfull enough (i dont care about damage but the effects should at least felt powerfull, and yes i like exagerated effect), the current weapon effects is just like being hit with stones with some sparks.

I do not ask for destructible environment but please at least let me chop those damn trees

The shaking is lacking but way too fast, it is like punching small mass attached on the top of stiff spring. The shake in the battle of giant robots should have greater vibration amplitude with less velocity

And the last is lack of proper collision, PGI please simulate giant masses clashing into each others

Yes, I agree I forgot about destructible buildings, trees, and rocks. Not the terrain although that would be neat. Just things people use as cover. I think it would make for more interesting tactics and matches. Not the standard hide behind rock A and poptarts, rinse and repeat.

1)Almost no weapon does what it is supposed to do: ppc, gauss and ac 20 are too weak and since THIS GAME IS NAMED MECHWARRIOR they should also be the primary weapon, the Alpha problem is solved creating double armor at the same actual weight, and increasing damage or reducing heat on secondary weapons like srms, mdlaser and lglaser, or reducing weight of ac 10 and lb10, but for god sake 8 heat to ppc and no load time to gauss, 12 heat to er ppc...........in all the games named MECHWARRIOR ppc, gauss and ac 20 are THE GROUP 1 OF ALL CUSTOM MECHS.

1c) underpowered sniper and secondary line assister role, now it is all medium-short range role: this is not MechWarrior, this is call of duty.

2)only 2 game modes available

3) no possibility to disable global chat, I DO NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO THE ***** THINGS THAT 10 YEARS OLD PLAYERS SAY.

ah and the fact that you are making all the possible to make us waste time and earn less c bills, like the ready button

1) Teams vs pug, night after night turkey shoot. WHF are thinking?
2) lights half the size of assaults and mediums don't even waste your time get a heavy or assault (**** on role) game play.
3) Jack around with weapon mechanics for a year just to give all the player base "confidence" (joke).
4) Make me pay in world $ for poop that sucks or is nerfed as you bring it into play.
5) Make the 50ton Mech I payed for half the size of the 100ton I payed for. Use some brains the size thing you are doing is NOT balancing.

8) no TDM, honestly if its as simple as removing bases why is it not in the beta yet?
9) no greater reward for winning
10) yet to be mentioned/found
