How do I sell my old ballistic weapons if i dont have any mechs which have a ballistic slot?

I sold my old HBK and got a new STK. However, since i don't have any ballistics weapon slot i cant see ballistic weapons which i want to sell.

Any idea how i can see old ballistic weapons without any ballistics slot?

It's convoluted but you go to a mech loadout in an area which can take the type of weapons you wish to sell. Click on the weapon you want to sell and there should be a button called 'Sell'. That's how you sell excess weaponry.

Hopefully they sort this out in UI2.0

Out of luck until UI 2.0 I think.

In any case, why don't you just hold on to it for now? I find that gear I often consider useless ends up having use at the oddest time when I least expect. Since you're only getting half the money back for it, it may actually save you money in the long run if you keep it.

As Scratx says. It's generally inadvisable to sell gear you're not currently using, as there is no penalty for leaving it mothballed until you use it.

I would also recommend keeping all your old gear. Eventually you'll end up with quite a pile, and when you buy new mechs at that point all you really have to invest in is the DHS and ES upgrades.

But yes with the current UI, there's no way to access those weapons to sell them. Supposedly UI 2.0 will give you the ability to sell them.

I say keep them. Selling gear is a rip off anyway.

I highly recommend only selling excess weapons. Got an AC20 laying around? Keep it just in case. Got 25 Medium Lasers? you can probably part with 15-20 of those.
