Hey.
Was thinking about how to deal with the low hung Arm Hardpoints in some Mechs. What
about a Button to lift the Arms. For Example a Jaggers arms are like this : -- and a Atlais Arms are like this _/ . So maybe give a Button that lift the Arms of a Altas also in a -- Arms position like a Jagger? You can shoot from a higher Point but expose your Sidetorso more to enemy Fire this Way. Maybe make it only possible for a set Period of Time?

nah, to much of a hassle to code, animate and rebalance the mechs.

Yeah, it's been asked for before. And I'd like to see this myself, since the mechs should be able to utilize that sort of articulation in MWO.
Such a function can be tied to the current Arm Lock system, were arms can see different positions like how we have different zooms and to help control where we can aim and provide different sets of advantages and disadvantages between the different arm positions.
Therefore this requires various systems to be tweaked and tested, to get this kind of idea working and looking good and fluid.
