I feel like it's time to give our Company and Lance Commanders some communication tools for success! So here goes:
Company and Lance Commanders can target an enemy mech, then press an additional key to designate their target as Primary or Secondary. This puts a semi-permanent tag-like icon over the target, that marks them for death. These markers would need the ability to be removed, or reset by designating someone else. Company and Lance markers would look different, of course. Hooray for communication!
I like it, anyways.

I do think this would be useful. Sort of like they have in WoT.
You can already kinda recognise the primary target in MWO though. He's the guy shrouded in smoke and literally glowing from the impacts, getting hit by LRM salvoes even though he died fifteen seconds ago.
