I cannot find the "launch button" or the mech garage, or anything to do with me playing the actual game. I see the download button and have downloaded the game twice now, when I open the icon on my desktop it says I need a patch, but I don't get the normal home screen; it's just news and the website's tabs. I clicked download on the patch, and as of now it is at 4050mb/2956mb, the 4050 is increasing and the ETA is in negative time, and the flood bar is not moving.What should I do?

I already re started it, nothing had happened for over a day. It is now at 2200 MB and the floodbar is not moving, the 2200 is increasing.

Just to be sure, you do know that the game itself runs as a separate client and not from the website itself right? Some of your comments lead me to believe that you may be looking for things on the website that are in the client.

The game itself is like 3-4 GB? I think?
There may have been a problem with the Internet connection. Try deleting it (patcher too) and redownloading.

There's also a MWOrepair tool around here somewhere...

I know, I simply felt it to be prudent to include as much information as possible. I did not know if it would still say I could download it if I already had done so.

The support link does not work for some reason, I can try the repair tool I guess.

It had hung, and the numbers were nonsensical. If you restarted and it's now downloading again, I would just let it run. It may take a few times if you are having trouble with your Internet.

As to the support link, you can just email them directly. What I would recommend is the when the download finishes or hangs again, is run the repair tool and see if it works.

Just to clear things up, what you're looking at is called "The Patcher". It has news and links to stuff, which looks superficially similar to the home page n the game client, but it's just a patcher.

Slam the big blue Patch button to continue. (obviously you are having trouble at this stage)

Once you have completed the patch then the button becomes a big blue Play button and you can they proceed to the actual game client
