I am using a GTX 680 2GB, i52500k CPU and 8GB RAM. On the GPU the memory keeps building up to a point where either my machine crashes/locks up or i have to quit the client and restart the game. There lies the second issue, when i quit the client by either the menu quit button or hitting the x in top corner the client goes black and i have to open task manger and end task the program. At that point i get the usual this program has stopped respoding blah blah. This is EVERY time i quit the client.
I have tried running the repair tool and after 2 seconds that stops responding with the this program has stopped responding message. I have also re-installed and re-patched the whole game and still the same problem.
I love MWO and despite the hate I have seen in various posts regarding a manner of things I still love this game. I have spent quite a chunk of money on various mechs, items and paints. Infact I have spent way more money than i have ever spent on a single game because I enjoy it that much. However these issues are not acceptable for a game that has now been released. I dont want to be doing hard resets of my machine every time the GPU memory is full and my machine locks. I dont want to have to go through task manager to quit the client. I dont want a repair tool that [redacted] stops responding. I want a game that works. I know its FTP but how do expect to get revenue when you have a buggy game? I know many exsiting players will still continue to play but why the hell would a new player put up with it. After all its FTP and they have not lost anything if they decide after a couple of days they will play hawken instead because at least it works. A new player is NOT going to buy mechs, paints, items ect if the game is not working as it should.
I know this is a known issue and there are many posts in the archive about it. After reading those posts and still these issue's are still there I am starting to feel like its a take your money and [redacted] you situation. I hope this is not the case. Please sort these problems asap as like i said I love this game but I will not be spending any more cash until those issues are resolved.
As a note i dont have crashing, freezing or any problems with any other game I own. Also my grammar and spelling is shocking so dont hate me for it.
