If you click this button, does it automatically sell the selected mech, or does it ask you to confirm and tell you how much you would be getting?

Howdy!
A box comes up and confirms the amount and you get a chance to cancel.
I wouldn't recommend selling until you max out the chassis though...
Cheers

Just to add to that. The poopup box gives you the chance to sell the Mech as a whole, the mech chassie alone (weapons, engine, Armor etc.. are not sold) or to cancle the sale.

The only way to access that engine is having a mech that can use it. Until then, it's "in the shadows" of your inventory.
However, a big graphical improvement is sheduled for November/December, which will fix this problem (and many others). They call it UI2.0.
You can check out http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/ to see which mechs can use what. You can also play around with different setups without spending any ingame money.
The cheapest mech that can fit a 350 engine is the Kintaro 18 (which can be built to be a good light hunter).

Just to ad in, Armor and Ammo are never sold, once you own them, they're yours. You can reuse them on other mechs though (So if you sell a few mechs, you'll likely not need to buy armor again eventually)
