As long as you don't mean the later Katrina who stole her grandmothers name, murdered her mother, then ripped the FedCom apart because she was pissed her brother was born first . That ***** had antifreeze for blood.

I agree with this reply. no way will I support the newest/latest Katrina. which is why I may go either Davion or Kurita if I have to pick a House.

Yah you gotta wonder what the Clans would have run into if the other successor lords had listened to Katrina and called off all the fighting for the vacant Star League throne. With the helm memory core and 30 some years of peace and rebuilding, it might have been the clans that were technologically outmatched.

Who ISN'T easy to hate from that crop of characters? I'm trying to think of any novel character from the Clan invasion era that doesn't make me throw up a little in my mouth and all I can come up with is maybe Thomas Marik, and he is only interesting during the Jihad.

Well, 30 years after the Clan invasion, the Great Houses are making their own Clan technology in the XTROs. It's not impossible.

But honestly, there's no way ComStar would have let that happen. It almost happened once when House Steiner hosted a peace conference after the 2nd Succession War. When ComStar found out how well it was going they assassinated almost everybody and strategically assigned blame for each delegate to a different house to make it look like a war of assassins broke out there. Started the 3rd War. This ain't kinder gentler Focht ComStar we're dealing with right now.
