When in doubt, put it in the legs!

(I actually can't stand putting ammo in the legs. I rarely do. I just can't stand it. It sounds silly, but unless my ammo is in the same arm as the weapon or its sitting in a torso with or without CASE I just can't be happy. )

*trys to imagine ammo some were else other than the legs of a atlas * .... Nope sorry can't do it putting ammo in the paper half of a atlas just feels like a really bad idea tbh since really who shoots a atlas in the legs ......ok there was once I saw a atlas die from a ammo explosion from his legs but it was his fault I asks and he only had 10 points or armour in each leg

When in doubt .....more armor

When in doubt, hide behind a turret.

Well, the problem for me is it just isn't realistic. I mean how in the world is a big clunky AC/20 round going to travel all way up a mech's leg, past the engine and side torsos and everything in them, and into the arm before properly chambering into the weapon? Even if you could figure out how to do it the ammo feed would snap in half as soon as the mech twists, turns, or moves anything. Then again...

When in doubt, don't question Battletech logic too much. :P

I always kinda assumed they were just big clunky ammo boxes attached to the legs with the ammo fed by belt to the arms...but that's kinda dangerous too!

When in doubt... MEGAMAN X THEMES!

(If melee combat ever gets implemented into this game, I'm painting my Axeman red, gold, and white and naming it Zero.)

When in doubt... Jump n' shoot!

(Do not attempt if you don't have jumpjets.)

When in doubt...improvise a cunning plan! Whether it involves custard and hats is completely up to you.

When in doubt, challenge the enemy to a mech dance-off! Be it the Atlas Tango, the Hunchback Powerslide or the Spider Breakdance, anything goes! Lance commanders are the judges.

When in doubt, sing over live comms. It confuses the enemy and gives you time to think.

Should we keep in mind the multiple tips regarding what songs are and are not appropriate in live-fire situations? :D

When in doubt...remain confused and let the thread remain in limbo. ;)

When in doubt...fire all the ordinance!

When in doubt...hit them with the sword!

When in doubt...drive closer so you CAN hit them with the sword!

When in doubt... No, reinforcements are not on the way.

When in doubt... Playing your favorite video game boss fight theme will probably not give you the motivation and skills to kill a mech twice as big as you. Then again, there's always that 10% chance. I say go for it.
