PGI identified 100-150 ton being horrible weight match. I've noticed that these types of match is more frequent in pug drop with the new patch. Probably due to fact that new players don't ride in Assault/Heavies because they don't have the cash nor wait to collect the full cadet before buying their own mech.

Anyhow, these two games were so obvious on tonnage difference during play I reminded myself to take ss. In the 2nd ss even if we had a 100 tonner, it would still be big weight gap. Also the lights on the 2nd match weren't premade.

I should also say these two games were played in one sitting, not throughout the week.

One way to fix this is to allow only 3 type of queues. Solo Pug only queue, 12 man queue for competitive drops, and all non-12 man premade. Basically lump in all premade folks against each other and only solo pugs against solo pugs. That'd be ideal. Not sure if current active playerbase can support this though...if it can. We need to split up the queues more.

Group-based weight limits are already inbound.

Also, with Community Warfare coming in, it will be more common to see premades.

PUG droppers and Merc Units will be filling in the gaps created by Faction vs. Faction warfare.
