How about giving a selectbox in the options where you can pre-select your favourite game-mode?
I often forget to switch the game-mode an than wondering why im playing in the false one.

Think this is alittle change with an improve of the usability.

Seems like a waste of programing, when you can just look below the launch button to see your mode selection.
