So as we all know the standard SRM6 is 3 tons 2 slots 12 damage.
So how does an artemis SRM4 stack up against that? It too is 3 tons 2 slots 8 damage with more accuracy. After the weekend I had saved up alot of C bills so I gave it a test.
For the test I am using A stalker 5M, in the training grounds on forrest colony.
5 ART. SRM4, 135M, target:atlas, 8 Alpha strikes to kill
5 ART. SRM4, 270M, target:catapault, 5 Alpha strikes to kill
5 reg. SRM6, 135M, target:atlas, 5 alpha strikes to kill
5 reg. SRM6, 270M, target:catapault, 5 alpha strkes to kill
heres the cool part.
5 ART. SRM6, 135M, target: atlas, 5 alpha strikes to kill (same as REG. SRM6)
5 ART. SRM6, 270M, target: catapault, 3 alpha strikes to kill.
So all in all the regular SRM6 is the best option for the tonnage and space used. However if you want to conserve ammo, and fire slightly faster the ART. SRM4 might be for you. And if you have limited ranged weaponry ARTEMS SRM6 would be the best option, because at 270M every missle still hits (a standing target)
Now all we need is for hit registration to be fxed for SRMs and they will be viable once again.

I am biased to Artemis (not just for Streaks), so ASRM4 and ASRM6 is my preference.
The issue is hitreg makes decision making so difficult, so it's hard to justify SRMs in this game more often than not unless you chainfire them...

Ya SRM hit reg. is rediculous, I often have full volleys not register which is complete BS. Could be a great weapon.
