Strange Buzzing

i always get this strange buzzing when i start up the client and it doesent stop until i exit mwo doesent any one know whats up with that?

It could be coil whine, especially in the GPU. If that's the case, there's really not much you can do about it that's within reason. It's not harmful though.

Does it happen in other intensive programs? If you do a run in 3dMark11 or 3dMark Firestrike, for instance, do you get the same thing?

im not sure what 3dmark11 or firestrike is....but from what i've noticed its just mwo
EDIT: Just tested it on rome II and its the same thing

Its likely coil whine. it tends to happen on GPU's more often when ur FPS is incredibly high.. like 500fps + during loading screens that dont have Vsync enabled.

Go into ur global GPU settings and turn on Vsync.

ya gpu coil whine. the mechlab is secretly folding and mining for bitcoins. hahaha def strangest thing i've ever seen in years.

vsync didn't even help with the temps. Your best bet is be as quick as possible in the mechlab....and when your not playing log out or keep it minimized at least.
