I generally leave 90% of my Mechs with their stock build, or build pseudo-stock Mechs from other variants, and replace the SHS, with DHS, since PGI has messed up heat sinks.
That being said, I would gladly play with the Shadowhawk in a Stock Tournament or Stock Mode (most Mechs don't have AMS, so the LRM5 is somewhat useful), but its going to be way too hard with the borked balance in the game. I've tried builds like the SH in MW:T and MegaMek, just to see what it would be like in a "TT" setting, and its actually pretty good if you stay at range with the AC/5 and LRM5 in a support role.
With the SDH-2H, however, I am simply going to go with a pseudo-Flying Hunchback-4G loadout. And the SDH-2H2, I am making a duplicate of the SDH-2Hb ->
