I'm not sure if its a player rating system or not but if you view a person's profile page, just below their name and member date you can rate them by stars.

Interesting. I thought that was determined by likes -- never thought to try it before. In that case there's people who need some stars.

The closest we have is the Like button. Use it, it does make folks feel good.

Yep, your star rating is entirely dependent on who views your profile and also rates, so it's unlikely that most players have more than one rating at all.

Likes/post count is usually a pretty decent indicator though. I do often find myself wishing for a better voting system for comments which would let players sort in a thread, i.e. "show me the comments in order of which ones people found to be the most helpful/witty/useful etc."

I do appreciate that people 'liking' your posts lets you know about it though, so you can return to the thread and see how things have developed.
