Well, ever since I started playing this game, my dream has been to pilot the Raven 3L as a scout and information warfare mech. Now I finally have all the mechs I want, I've got nothing to spend money on, so I can live that fantasy.

I started out with a match on Crimson Strait, assault mode. I take my Raven 3L to the top of the mountain, look down at the pass. The enemy team comes crawling up on the platform, I let rip with an artillery strike + accuracy module. KABOOM! Everyone pulls back 50 meters, then walks back into position. Airstrike. KABOOM! I get one component destroyed, and then one of the mechs simply explodes. My first airstrike kill ever. Then I run out, put my UAV right over the enemy team.

Long story short: we lose the match. But I got a 125,000 C-bill income.

Which means I made a cool 5000 C-bill profit.

I may have to try that. "Burst" damage is still damage, and damage pays.

If you are into extra income, I earned some spare change with BAP on a TDR for my first ever "ECM Suppression" bonus yesterday. This is starting to feel suspiciously like rewarding people for "role activity"...

I've only used them a few times but once completely cleared our cap point of base rushers long enough for my team to come and help. As a light pilot it's like having some real support when you need it. The other was clearing theta of two atlases in terra therma. That one did tons of damage lol. Last night I watched a mech try and run from one but he ran out of jumpjet and slid back down the ledge right into the smoke rofl. It was on Canyon Network. I couldn't stop laughing.

That's awesome to know about BAP, I was wondering if it would give a bonus but I haven't used my Jenner since the Patch.

On my Jenner I have BAP, Advanced senosr range 2, target decay, and cap accel.

How much are the ECM counter and BAP suppression bonuses? I couldn't see it detailed in the patch notes.

Yeah once you start running competitively in lights, you can't expect to make much of a profit.
However it's also easy to become reliant on consumable modules. So try and save them only for the last resort, you'll make more money if you learn to use less modules in a match.

Counter-ECM gives 1,500 Cbills, 150XP per countered mech (But dosnt give repeated awards for countering the same mech over and over) there is also a Counter-Ecm Assist bonus but its tiny (which I assume means someone targeted and fired LRMs onto a mech you countered, not sure on that).

Counter-ECM awards can (so far) be awarded for using ECM in counter mode or with BAP, iv not run any tests to see if TAG countering ECM counts or not.

It was completely worthless back in the days with only 10 dmg per shell. Now it is a module that people loves to buy or invest a few c bills
