Title: Gauss Ammo Explosion

Description: I have a Gauss rifle mounted in my Catapult-K2. In the left torso. Now if I take a hit on the Gauss I am destroyed by an internal ammo explosion. I understand that firstly Gauss ammo can not explode and secondly there is no ammo mounted there anyway. I store all ammo in the legs.

Location: All maps

Steps to Reproduce: Go into game and take hit on the left torso with an AC

I've been wondering, sense it "registers" as an ammo explosion, will a CASE prevent it from coring your butt out?

Yes, but if you have an XL, it will still core you out. Solution is generally to never have a gauss ever on your torso ever.

Understood. I have an Atlas build that uses a Guass rifle for range support. I quit using XLs in my Atlas when I went a whole night getting my AC20 off and engine destroyed at the same time.
