I returned to MWO just before the Cbill nerf. And at the time, very pumped about my experience, I bought the Pheonix/Saber pack.

When the Cbill nerf hit, i tried to tough it out but eventually bought premium time.

Mind you, had i not purchased the Pheonix pack, i would have flat out quit. I was buying premium time not because i enjoyed the experience i was recieving, rather my rewards were horrible and i purchased premium time so i did not quit when i had re-invested into MWO.

So this premium time has now dried up. Im averaging 90k a match (with hero bonus).

This is unsustainable.

I was wondering just how many current players would have quit if not for their purchase of the Pheonix pack?

I average 150k per match? Grind is bad, but it's not that bad.

i think the op is upset about the very polar nature of the cbills now, either you consistantly make under 100K or you work your tail off occasionally banking 150K+ and then being astounded at what is now neccessary to break 200K (havent used premium yet).

you have to make 10 assists every match to consistantly break 150K+500ish damage, the damage is not hard the assists are because the enemy team dies fast sometimes way to fast for even half your team to get those 10 assists, so alot of times your just unlucky because your squad didnt get in the action first......... and its like..... im not making massive damage in 12v12, right around the same as before so..... now i basically need 2x as many assists to get close to what we made before..... at least it sure feels that way. i personally think 250K average for winning is not to high and is slightly low. but again im basing off of MW2Mercs, at least a campaign would net you enough to buy a zeus, a campaign is usually only like 5 missions, here you need 20, and thats only your first 20 that get you good money.

I just play 3-4 games then put it away a couple times a week. no need for premium time as I am not a mech buying/game playing fanatic (I have other hobbies). I have 8 mechs (only have ever had that many) plus I still have my founders MC - all of it.

I've resorted to taking small LRM launchers on almost all of my builds now just to get enough assists to make money by tagging as many enemy as possible at the start of a match.

I still play, yes. Sometimes. To the person averaging 150k c-bills a match...three things. A.) Is that without modifiers? B.) If so, then you are clearly a better player than I am, and my hat is off to you. C.) I would love some screenshots to demonstrate.

Haven't had premium time since last spring. Still play practically every day. Purchased the Phoenix package but haven't activated the premium yet.

Ah, I usually tend to try and win when I play, and don't just go for c-bills.

i make 140k-178k without prem time. 140 without my prem mechs, 178 and above with. This screen is a prem cent. Without prem time it would have been 178k

exactly so cbills should reward you for winning and more then just CT alpha shotting people, and it shouldnt take 6 kills+ or 10+ assists to get significantly past just 100K
