For any misunderstanding lets fix it here. I am not stealing players they said a lilttle further back in this blog that they had hit there recruitment levels for North america. I was pointing out that if they had more than they wished now or ever that they could choose to send some players to some of the other regiements so that no one got left out that wished to run with this allince that wished to be apart of it. This was not me chery picking. This was not me telling people to come to My regiment. This was giving wolf spiders a place to put people if they had too many.
I think the wording was more like we consider the US company to be full at the present time but would still discuss opportunites with applicants.
Your original request was understandably not perceived as being malevolent in "poaching" players Mandalore82. But there were certain concerns about simply passing on a players application details as you requested as specifically this is potentially personal pilot information. Likewise we don't want to show undue favouratism in prescribing player choice in how they decide their reasoning for Merc Corp selection though recognise some potential perceived allied related interests could be accomodated if those are primary motivations. This is since ideally we consider pilot interests and aspirations as part of the recruitment process and ethics within our batallion.
There is also the fact that you kind of placed an assumption that it makes it more apparent that we may not then at some point be either open for expansion as a battalion or have a need to review pilots who may have a significant interest in the Wolf Spiders even if we consider the US company to be sufficiently manned for current purposes. It's also to do with how the admin team can best support pilots and empower them so they can reach appropriate potentials within the companies. So it isn't really so "black and white" when considering if we are full or what our plans may or may not be, however the view is not just a numbers game but making sure the admin support structure works in the interests of our pilots.
The debate of Wolf Spider policies and strategies is not something we really wish to have as an open topic on the MWO forum however. So I would politely request that if you wish to respectfully discuss this then could you contact John with a view to having a private conversation to confirm details and to have an opportunity to put forward considerations.
As such just to clarify for everyone, the doors are not closed in terms of regional recruitment atm, though the US company is considered full for current purposes. We will not at this stage simply be ignorant of anyone who wishes to express specific interests in joining the Wolf Spiders and applicants will still be considered here even if places may be currently harder to obtain. The EU Company has a heathly recruitment pattern and numbers are satisfactory here, but there are still vacancies identified before optimum levels are achieved for purposes atm.
