No, sir. We basically wasted the last 4 minutes of the game waiting out the timer, anticipating a win.

They were an 11 man team, including their 1 DC, which you didn't hunt down and kill. So you only scored 10 kills. You were a 12 man team with 2 mechs left, so they only scored 10 kills.
10 kills vs. 10 kills, that's a tie.
No, I don't think it's right for the DC still kicking around to count as a "live" player for continuing the match, I think a DC should count as dead. Not necessarily destroyed, but dead. I'm just saying this is why you got the result you got.

Working as intended.
# of kills are the same, and the cap state outside of a full cap doesn't determine winner.
It doesn't help that DCed players are part of the "the count" that forces these ties and extends games to hunt down the DCed players. The DCed players change was recent (not this patch, but rather the patch before it).

Has to be said how could you not find a DC mech in the drop points (from his 0 score)?

Looks like you were Robed and Assaulted!

How was either within the turret array, or elsewhere on the map. Neither of us could target him and proximity to the turrets was too dangerous given the condition of our mechs at end-game.
I also understand this is working as intended.
I just think it's not quite right. No active players should equal defeat.

Try Skirmish mode. No turrets there.

It's a bug since the new UI came out(not saying it has something to do with it, it just came with the same patch).
Before, disconnected players were counted as dead and the match would end if everyone else was killed.
Submit a support ticket, the more the better.
