When I try to convert mech XP to GXP it's red at any amount. Why can't I convert?

Do you have MC? It costs MC to convert XP to GXP.

Also if you do plan to buy MC make sure you wait for a GXP conversion event, it really stretches your MC.

hmm.. Couldn't wait for sale. Purchased MC but still have same problem. Can't convert any amount. Converted about 6 hours ago. Is there a max per day?

Not that I'm aware of, do you have excess on the mech selected?

Make sure you have selected a mech with excess XP...you are converting Mech XP from a specific model of mech to general XP. You have to select the Mech model with the XP you want to transfer from first.

You must have MC available to transfer anything. Transfer is cheap, but it costs MC.

The Transfer is done from the Pilot Lab. Once you have selected a specific mech from the pilot lab with XP available, you will get the option to transfer. This is the ONLY place you can do it.

And a further note- a mech must have the basic skills purchased in order to convert excess XP
