MWO might not be dead, but it's dying. Losing more players and potential revenue every day.

YMMV

Our TS server

has increased 50%

over last month

and 5 new members

every day on the site.

Maybe you just have

fickle friends.

Roadbeer can I have that cake recipe again?

1-2-3-4 cake

1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
3 cups self-raising flour
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Using an electric mixer, cream butter until fluffy. Add sugar and continue to cream well for 6 to 8 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and milk alternately to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour. Add vanilla and continue to beat until just mixed. Divide batter equally among prepared pans. Level batter in each pan by holding pan 3 or 4 inches above counter, then dropping it flat onto counter. Do this several times to release air bubbles and assure you of a more level cake. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Cool in pans 5 to 10 minutes. Invert cakes onto cooling racks. Cool completely and spread cake layers with your favorite frosting.

You're missing the forum tears. I believe the recipe calls for 1 Tbsp?

You have no numbers, so telling us that the game is constantly losing players (probably correct, everything else would be a small miracle for every game in existence) and dying because of that (ignoring the also constant influx of new players) is totally psychic.

The funny thing is you don't have numbers either, so let him say what he wants.

No, I don't have numbers! I also do not make claims on numbers I don't have.
And I fail to see where I prohibited him from saying what he wants. I only pointed out the fallacy of his argument.

Now can I have a piece of that pie please?

Then you can't claim he's wrong either.

No, I don't!

I told him he has to psychic to make assumptions based on numbers he doesn't have. I didn't say he is wrong. Not with a single word.

With that said: Yes, I just told you, that you are wrong! :)

Double standards are pretty neat huh egomane

I'm sure if you're given hard numbers, you'll just wave them off as lies, inconsequential, or some other form of confirmation bias to validate your belief that the playerbase is shrinking.

That's how confirmation bias works. You have your position, agree with any data that supports it, and dismiss any data that opposes it. Giving you numbers is about as useless as... you.

This is K-town, right? I can say things like that?

Or, if you want hard numbers: There is a new person trying out MWO every 30 seconds. Source: Look at the forum user list, sort by date, and add up the number of people who joined in the last 24 hours. Keep in mind that the list represents less than half of the people actually signing up for and playing the game, because less than half the people bother to register for the forums.

How many of these "new people" drop so much as a dime on your product, pray tell? And registered on forum != playing the game, true. In fact a lot of people who have likely stopped playing still linger on the forum, and there are people who avoid the forum for one reason or another who play. Therefore, what point is there in bringing up forum numbers? One can register for the forums without so much as downloading MWO and installing it, IIRC. I actually personally made a habit of lurking on various MMO forums before shelling out money to try the MMOs associated with said forums (Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer Online, FFXI being examples I can come up with off the top of my head but there are more) and in some cases I dodged a bullet by steering clear of MMOs with obvious problems (Warhammer Online being probably the most notable of those).

lol... The mental gymnastics people have to do to support their narrative. Be sure to do your forum stretches before posting again! Wouldn't want you to pull a muscle.

Poop all over the thread... in K-town...

Yes. Exactly. That is exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to poop all over this thread until it is halfway decent from the cistern that the OP created it in. Because that is what my poop does: It makes EVERYTHING better.

The cake is:

Non-denominational

Nut free

Gluten free

Dairy free

MSG free

It's basically sawdust

and free range eggbeaters

with a 'frosting' that is

made from tofu paste

and something that I found

I think was once a varnish remover

that has a somewhat minty taste.

It has been thoroughly tested on animals

and the only known side effects are:

Simultaneous diarrhea and constipation,

a previously unknown strain of gonorrhea,

and "sausage fingers".
