I would like it a lot more if I could install lights around my cockpit but still keep my hanging item (Especially the ones that give me a loyalty bonus!). I think it would make my cockpit look nicer and those two items actually appear to inhabit different areas of the cockpit.

Can't say absense of it ruins the game any noticeably for me. But, yeah, why not. Could be forever lost in a void of "Soonish™", though, i suspect...

I raised this question (or similar as to make no difference) in Ask the Devs 36. Response below;

Trucker: Currently there are only three item slots by which we can personalise our cockpit. While this is great it still leaves them feeling a little 'un lived' in. Are there are plans, or is there the possibiliy, of providing more customisation slots. Being able to add hanging wires, additional monitors or hot wired control panel modules etc. Also, when are we likely to see new banner items?

I think hanging items should not take away the place of those light - you should combine all of them.

Do you know if there is an compilation where i can see all cockpit-items which were ever released?

Another cool feature would be, that lowering the cockpit-light would affect the cockpit-items

They have there own button "toggle cockpit item". turns lights on and off. I has my Chinese lanterns macro'd to flash on and off at one time.

Wie zur hölle bekomm ich denn solche dinge für mein Cockpit?
Den Kürbis und die Lichterkette hab ich noch nirgens gefunden.
Hab auch gehört das es nen Holo 3050 gibt und nen Tannenbaum.

Würd mich freuen wenn mir hier einer weiter helfen kann
