Are you playing as a lone wolf?, are you thinking of joining a unit?, are you UK or EU based?, if yes to all three and you just want to have fun as well while playing MWO then look no further than our friendly bunch of misfits, we have casual as well as regular players doing quick drops and Clan Warfare. Our Pirate unit is looking for YOU!, not only to play MWO but also NBT, (NetBattleTech) as the Northwind Highlanders using MWO mechs, maps and game base, as the title states we are mainly UK and EU adult players (with a mental age 13 and 3/4). We also have a few ranks, these range from Commander down to Cabin Boy, all new recruits start as Cabin boy until someone else comes along or a set time has passed then all cabin boys are voted to the next rank of Buccaneer, (full member) by the existing members. We are not an elitist unit, we are a social unit, we have a laugh, chew the fat of the day or topic, play the game, take the pee out of each other/banter, basically having fun while playing and so on. If you are a complete novice our doors are always open to you. The Outlaw Buccaneers are a great bunch of guys that will always make you feel welcome and we only have one view and that is "Gaming is all about fun mixed with the personality and humour of all in the unit", which has formed us into a friendly family group, we find this to be more important than game skill, with this in mind, we find, as a group, provides a relaxed atmosphere in our crew, but don't let this attitude fool you, on the field, we fight hard, we fight dirty, just as a bonded pirate crew should. I must also point out that we are not a militarized unit, we are just a group of people that get together to play the game for fun and try to be competitive, either in IS or Clan so it will not matter how good you are, if you fit in then that is good enough as personality is better than skill in our unit, all our players will help you to get more from the game from mechs to Cbills. All are welcome so why not look us up for some pirate metal bashing fun, all you will need is a mech and some RUM.....[/color]
"As already mentioned, we have a family feel balance with-in our unit that must be maintained, if you would like to run with us as an [Outlaw Buccaneer], and you do not fit in with the other players you will be kicked from the unit, we understand that not all people get along, we have our moments in the unit as well.
If you think that you have what it takes to be part of a great bunch of misfits with questionable IQ's, that likes to have fun while playing games, or just a small group of players/friends that are thinking about getting into this game, then feel free to look us up. If you are just checking us out by doing a few drops, just be aware that we are doing the same, to see if you are suitable and get on with all members.

Ego'S:- Leave these at home or stay away.
Wanna-Be Commanders:- The do this, Do that Brigade, (refer to "Ego's).
Chatter/Gen Talk:- In game comms clear at all times!. (Yeah Right)
Commitment:- SOME, it would be nice if you did partake in our forum.
Team Play:- There is no " I " in team, we work as one unit, well try too
Tactics:- Our unit go's with the flow of battle, quite often with success.
Target Calling:- Only targets that are the most threatening, (Priority Targets First).
Focus Fire:- A must, if possible from your location.
Skill:- You do not need any, that will come in time.
Mechs:- Bring what you have, run what you like.
Play Style:- No strict rule, refer to Mechs.
New Members:- Voted in by "All active members", based on how you fit in, attitude!, personality!, etc, etc.

Are you getting frustrated with losing?, of no communication without typing in game and not getting game play info direct to your elephant ears while in CW beta or playing normal modes then why not consider being part of our scurvy crew.
