The locust is only good for dying a sad and pathetic death. No JJ or ECM, less tonnage, brittle legs, larger hitboxes, non-broken hitboxes, wider side profile and the list goes on. There is not one single redeeming factor for this mech. Not. One.

OK you have convinced me to stick with the Spider. The next issue is the best loadout for a Recon role; their are basically two approaches Offensive or Defensive; here's a link to a new thread that has just started to discuss this: http://mwomercs.com/...rue-recon-mech/

Pretty much sums it up. Hundreds of posts on it being too hard to kill. Join the rest of the guys and exploit a broken mech. Nothing like putting 2-3 AC20 rounds CT and it registering little to no damage.

They need to take the near invulnerability of spiders, and transfer that to the locusts. Maybe then they'll be worth something.
