I want to be able to turn off this message "Critical Damage" and all the shiny blinking red lights inside my cockpit. The same way I'm able to turn off lighting in cockpit to have a clearer view on dark maps.

I support this idea. The "critical damage" message is just distracting, annoying and reduce view. We don't have any field repair kits or assents, to deal with damaged modules, so we don't need this fliker after we glance on screen, indicating poor status of mech.

Why not! An OK idea, if you ask me. It'd be awesome, though, if turning it off would involve switching to free view, and pushing some button or pulling some lever actually present in the cockpit. So it couldn't be done during a firefight. So that these warnings would still be some minor, and temporary, inconvinience - because it should be so, imho, since taking critical amount of damage to one's mech should not go smooth, right? ;)
