Can you please remove the ability of the team commander to move players to different lances that originally came in as a group. Its really irritating when your group is broken up because someone wants to play around with command controls.

I don't see that much anymore. It seems no one really wants to get Tked by upset premades. I wish they would delete the command function in its entirety until we get lobbies.

I'm surprised that's such a thing. Like putting me in a different lance is going to stop me from palling around with the people I'm on voice-comms with.

It doesn't change where you drop so it really makes no sense at all. Weird that I haven't seen anyone move players in a few weeks then after I read this thread some noob did exactly that. Told him to stop messing around and he called me a noob.
His score, 120 no kills 1 assist. Me 6 kills over 900 dam. Gotta love it. I have never taken command. I am not qualified to.

I remember when this was something the community was asking for and just needed so badly.........
Just goes to show you, you can't make everyone happy.

What they got was not what was asked for.

6 one way half a dozen the other. It will still always be true that someone will complain no matter what.

It's not a huge deal, but if you think of classic Battletech where everything was lance based and usually only one lance was used then starting and staying in your original lance means something. It's a mindset really.
Problem is wanna be commanders who move mechs around to even out tonnage or put like-sounding names together, and then don't actually command in the game! If you wanna be in charge you better act like it, know what you're doing, have a good strategy in mind. and do your utmost to help your team win (or at least lose well). A commander is a battlefield General and should act like it!
In the game you can get back to your wingman if you're split up in about a minute really. Like I said - it's a mindset. We went through the trouble to set up a group so we want to be in a group.
BTW - I was the one in Vest's group that was split up.
