Edit: For those who are curious I took the 400XL out of my Pretty Baby... because why would I ever want to run in that again

yep i ran a 400xl with 7 flamers and 2mg in the BLR-1G. was pretty fun

That actually looks like a reasonably solid mech.

I'm leaning towards XL's in mine. My fav is x6 LL.

How are the 6LL builds working? I saw one and thought it might be pretty good.

Pfah! XL engines are for tryhards who want "firepower" and "viability." Real inner sphere mechwarriors use standard engines.

Yes the 400XL in my BM-1G allows 2xac2, 3t ammo, 6ML and enough heatsinks and I am molesting peoples faces with it. It eats atlases for breakfast and the rest of their team for lunch. 83.something kph

Yes, I am running 400XL with 6xML and 1xAC10 and doing quite well in it.

yepp, same here. i even got some games where my armor on all other sections than the CT was almost completely fresh, but CT got cored... Battlemaster is a realy good xl-engine-platform

2 at a time. Can alpha once from 0% heat once alpine to ~99%

Don't have a 400XL but just put a 360XL in from my Dragon Slayer. I was running a STD 340 before, so the speed gain is minimal (approx 5 kph or so), but it allowed me to throw on another AC/5. Don't know if it's because I'm doing more mid/long range fighting, but I've had a much higher survival rate. I am, however, extremely nervous about fighting, and this leads to me fighting better up close. I've had a ST lose armor, and I start defending that side like a winged bird. Alternately when I was running STD I'd lose my Sides all the time, so not sure if it's a case of the tail wagging the dog or what.

I think 1 alpha of 6LL will probably make your mech have sleepy time for a little while.
