<SOLVED; see post further down page>

Just installed the new Windows 8.1 update and now everything has a red tint.

The launcher/patcher looks right, but as soon as the game launches everything goes red.
and stays red in game.

Confirmed with some friends they are also experiencing this problem

Nvidia 670, 327.23 drivers

No problems here with ATI Card.

Try reset your monitor color profile to "something different", i had to reselect my Monitorprofile in the color options to get my stock colors back.

SOLVED.

For some reason the Nvidia stereoscopic 3D driver gets enabled in the update to 8.1

just go to the Nvidia control panel and disable it!

Yep. I had the same thing happen a week ago when I upgraded to 8.1. I wasn't sure if it was MWO related or not, so I opened another game and it was far more obvious that it was the 3D being enabled. I reinstalled the drivers and that worked fine as well. No problems since!
