None of these screenshots is from this event. None of those listed are involved with the groups running/participating in this event. The screenshot where you are with 11 Steiners was not a sync drop, I was with a group of 3, rest are not members of the hub or involved in this event. I have not been involved with this event With all of this in mind, your post is being reported as a name and shame.

I'm sorry to have hurt your feelings. It wasn't intended to name or shame anyone ... only to demonstrate the kind of multi-lance drop I was referring to.

It hadn't occurred to me that it could be interpreted as a name and shame, sorry. And ironically I suppose, if the names weren't visible, then neither you nor anyone prior could have been able to demonstrate authoritatively that you weren't sync-dropping.

Would you prefer that I delete the screenshots, or should I leave them there so that I can take my lumps from the moderators? I will take whichever course of action you prefer.

EDIT: In the meantime, I pixelated the names, to alleviate any further potential concern.

It seems to me your post was intended to show that these drops are pug-stomps, then you left out the very next battle, where I and my 2 team members were matched with an entirely different group of mostly Steiners. and you were on the opposite side complaining about sync drops. You couldn't post that, it would have shown all of these people you accused of something, were actually just randomly put together. You knew this, and still you post these misleading screenshots here as if you have proof of sync-drop pug-stomping. Changing the post does not remove the accusation it implies. I believe you owe many people an apology, and that the admins should deal with your accusatory and inflammatory post....... in a thread that was meant to bring many different people together. I think some would call that "trolling"?

I had a game yesterday where we ended up synching up with 2 4-mans and and our third lance was a 4 man Skye-Ranger lance (another steiner affileated unit, but not a hub unit). The end result? We lost 12-4. Why? Because we were mostly having fun, not extremely coordinated, ad I, as the lead for that drop, accidently JJed over a ridge and landed in the middle of the enemy team rather than leading an organized push from both sides. Then again, one of our 4 mans was also on the other team (I think).

Did some pug-stomps happen? Sure. It's inevitable at times even with a 4-man. Did we also have some great games? Yup. Several down to the wire games that could have gone either way or had wild swings in who was leading. And we even got crushed a few times. It was all in fun, we were dropping in whatever (We had a 3 locust and spider lance in assault at one point in my group), and several folks probably couldn't have legally driven a car at some point in the night.

Hopefully the teams we faced had fun, because of more games were like some of the ones we had, I think everyone would be happy.

Hope to see you all next friday.

No, that's not correct. I merely posted the two screenshots that I took at random during that night's matches, in which I encountered many Steiner teams. These seemed to be at odds with statements made in this thread about how the sync-droppers were mostly playing against each other.

So: no conspiracy, and no intention of misrepresenting the situation as I had experienced it.

I have apologised for not initially realising that my post could be interpreted as naming and shaming. I pixelated the names awaiting your decision on whether to delete the screenshots, at your preference.

So I think my bona fides are evident.

I left my posts as is - including the two where I agreed with the theory that the full-Steiner teams may be due to a predominance of German heritage people playing in the evenings European time - to not hide from my mistake, and enable the moderators to apply their own judgement on whether further action against me is needed.

Quite simply, I made a mistake in not pixelating the names in the first instance. I will take care not to let that happen again.

Regarding the above posts: When you feed the trolls they get fat. Better to serve them beer! Beer for all!

Last week's Oktoberfest was another smashing success, and again, the best games were when we ended up being pitted against each other; sometimes we rolled our friends, but we had some epic 12/11 kill matches. Real nail-biters and far more fun than the usual pug drops.

So, what does that mean for you, forum reader? That means that YOU should check us out! And remember, while you can drink our beer, you'll make more friends if you bring your own to share!

Please stop trolling our thread, Manticore. We're advertising a House Steiner event. We are not PGI, so don't attack us for doing our best to bring the community together. Our goals are to have fun with the game in any way we can, and this is the best we can do with the current game in place. Perhaps you'd prefer it back in the day when 8 man teams could drop against 8 pugs?

If you have a beef with PGI and the way they've set up their game, take it up with them.

They are, and you obviously appear to be a stand up guy, concerned how PGI have tossed out PUGS and noobs like chum for the sharks since day one. I to share that concern because I PUG a lot, but to reiterate, that is not what the event is about. I guess intent is what makes it for me. Enjoy.

Do you even know how dumb this is?

e: just sayin' if you havent been involved how do you know it isnt from the event?
I like community stuff like this and i understand what happens sometimes but what you said is more than ridiculous and I hope you dont represent any steiner leadership.

That being said, " I heard you guys were into fisting?"
