The poll: Should the player have the option to remove the view obscuring cockpit cage on the Locust-1V and Locust-1V(P)?

Personally, I just find the cage distracting and restricting, hence having the option to remove the cage would be nice.

It looks great from the outside, but I find myself tending to focus on the open area in the middle of the bars. This seriously reduces my vision in an already tiny cockpit. It'd be nice to be able to remove it.

Keep it the way it is. I do find it a bit annoying, but at the same time, it gives the mech a TON of character.

And yes...I feel like a hamster in that thing.


On a side note, does anyone notice durring startup that the camera gets REALLY close to the dashboard in the mech when the pilot is pushing the panel buttons. It's like he is blind and can't see anything more than a foot from his face. I think he might need glasses.

does give you that feeling like your strapped into a race car. Locust is more or less a race car on legs, go figure.

I'd like to remove it. It is simply too much for my taste. Maybe moving the camera forward could help though.

I painted my locust all red and like to run it a full speed pretending i am in a Lotus on the autoban
