Since there has been lots and LOTS of confusion i decided to knock this up....

ALL props-n-kudos go to Toms Hardware and for those interested here is the original link

http://www.tomshardw...iew,3107-7.html
The list starts in the top LEFT with the most powerful and the comparison between AMD and NVIDIA in seperate columns. The third column turns out to be onboard INTEL graphics arrays that are obsolete in gaming terms, however they have been kept in for completionist reasons.

Discrete = your basic standard everyday graphics card.
Go (mobile) & Mobility = graphics cards found in laptops

Lastly, the disclaimer.
The hardware world is forever changing, please do not take this as todays gospel truth. The list was compiled last month and things may or may not have changed since then. It was the most up to date list i could find from a reputable site and i reproduced it here to aid people in making their own minds up as to whether they should upgrade their graphics card or not...ultimately the choice is down to and made by you, not me.

Respect and Regards,

St1x a.k.a. Nic

the reviews are so slanted these days its next to impossible to find an unbaised one

opposed to popular belief the 7970 is an even match for the 680 specialy when you bring overclocking in to it
i mean hell an overclocked 7970 can be faster than a 6990

dont just jump on the first review you see!!!
