Thanks Shar, feeling much better. I guess on the bright side, I lost like 12 lbs in 3 days. Not a preferred way to do it, but you know..."glass half full" and all that. :P

Thanks for imputting these planet overviews, I'll put some info up on my campaign planned post I'll post later when I get done with it. I'm 9/12 missions done (1 mission each map). Really nice to know where the map is from generally! :)

Edit: Yeah, I read the other posts, glad that you feel better now :P .

When is the next write up going to be posted stargeezer? And which map are you planning on doing next?

I haven't gone into the .pak files lately, but there was a list of several hundred planet/system names in one of the folders.

Eventually we will have planets with many of those maps attached to them.

Well considering that Forest Colony's satellites are Eagleshore and Eaglesea and the trailer has that Atlas be dropped into a forested area on planet Eaglesham and Forest Colony is one of the first maps I think it's safe to say that Forest Colony basically IS on Eaglesham, the Lyran planet in the Skye March, close to the Kuritan border.

Very interesting! Also, in the distant future we apparently still drive cars that look like they belong in the 1970s, and the only color available (for a car) is blue. :D

People in 3050 are supposed to have hovercars :(
The idea i got from the books is that they often have the same kinds of vehicles we have now - normal cars, limousines, ambulances - but they are all hovercars.

Sadly, all of them. Because these maps will be cycled as the various planets, no matter how many planets there are. ;)

they need to make a map much bigger, like alpine, but section it off as "dropship defence corridor a,b,c,d,all" so that way a single map can be used for more then night and day, or summer and winter, in effect it would make 10 maps if they all had a night and day, 20 if both summer and winter as well, 40 if night and winter varients were combined, out of one map. unless that is too efficent out of any production time.

heck even if the bases got moved around from time to time that would be nice or had a random chance for a position on one side of the field to add flavor to every match.

Profoundest apologies for not responding sooner... real life, the holidays and two new game consoles have consumed the majority of my free time lately. Not to fear, this hasn't entirely fallen off my plate, but I will likely put off additional entries until after the hub-bub of the holidays are through.

When it does return, I will make all entries available in one document file that can be linked and downloaded for your convenience! Thanks for your interest! :(
