The Strider, I always felt that look too Star Wars. The awsome maybe, too stiff. That is all from this time period.

Have you seen the art for the new 3050 TRO?
It addresses most of these mechs. The lines are cleaner and more
refined.

Also, you cannot remake the Orion according to canon it's supposed to be ugly
and that ugliness is one of the reasons i like it


i'd want to see redesigns for these:
blackjack
dervish
enforcer( and the III version too) just a few tweaks

otherwise I'm sorta a purist, the clunky designs are part of the charm

Honestly I want the developers to take all the Inner Sphere mecs from MechWarrior 2 Mercs and make them options to pilot and customise. That game covers the gambit from light to Assault and has a hudge variety of mechs to choose from including almost every Iconic Mech from the clan invasion era.

Here's what I want to see redone for this game:

Spider. I've always thought it looked cool, and I think that Iglesias would just make it look even better.

Urbanmech. It's a trash can on legs, and I want to see what Iglesias would do with this... I doubt he could really make it look good, but better would be nice

Stinger. I choose this one because it's a simple, humanoid 'Mech which is visually quite similar to many other 'Mechs. If this was redone, not only would it be cool by itself, but it would give us a good idea of how many other designs could turn out.

Adder/Puma. I don't want to hear anything about the Clans not arriving yet - we all know they will be coming shortly after launch, so we will of course be seeing their 'Mechs. The Adder is my favorite 'Mech around, and I want to see it redone and put in this game. I'd maybe like to see it redesigned to look a little cooler, but overall I just want to see what Iglesias' version would look like.

Two of my favorite mechs are the Mist Lynx and the Ice Ferret, I'd love to see them updated.

Stalker - TRO looks like a blimp with legs. Should rather looks like a Catapult (body and leg assembly) and a Strider (roughly the arm design) had a child, and its on steroids.

Every mech thats looks like a soldier with a rifle... I can't even begin to describe how much I hate that style...
