A lot of the players in MMO's are used to holiday events. Item rewards are released during the event and or modified game content is available. Halloween is coming up have you considered test running an event? Some games patch the event content in then patch it back out after the holiday.

No. I can't say no strongly enough.

This stuff is fine in some MMO's, but MWO is not that MMO.

Want holiday content here? How about a sale on orange, black, and white paints; maybe Phranken as well. No pumpkin projectors, no ridiculousness. I'm fine with crazy paint (that's always happened in warfare, after all), but not silly weapons and such.

Guys! This game should get a patch making this game a simulation again. And in Fact this would be the HORROR for casual player...nuf halloween.

Cockpit Monitors, 1PV, Maps, Balance? Why do you want a Pumpkin in your cockpit, i don't think there are pumpkins in 3050 anymore, just some chemical substance in a bag you have somewhere in your backpack.

Too much wishes for Halloween from me? Ok....bring in the Hats ;(

Cockpit items are absolutely fine for this, I'm all on board with cockpit items. A cockpit Jack 'o Lantern would rock! Just no silly/ridiculous weapons. The cockpit christmas lights, for example, are great. It's plausible. I don't use them myself because I find them enormously distracting, but they're great for those who like them.

Some sort of zombie camo would be cool, together with the corresponsing colors, or a sale on oranges and blacks, or a little jack o` lantern for the cockpit.....

Not rally a fan of "seasonal weapons" for this game, but I have to admit, I LOVE the Idea of an Atlas with a Pumpkin for a head, that is possibly the most awesome thing I`Ve seen in a while.

I know right? But its not really the players. Developer is absolutely horrible at any form of hype or marketing. Initiating any form of excitement about the game. The founders paid their butt off for this game with certain expectations. Now it is obvious that was not enough money. Developers "big" idea to bring in more non-founder types to the game? 3rd person view. What did they end up doing to negate their gains? Grind increase with CBills earning reduction. All the new 3rd person new players got bored with no new mechs and left with their money. I personally was encouraged to reduce my spending in half. Before grind increase $15/mo after $7.5/mo. I just didn't need to buy mech bays anymore. What kind of idie0t developer intentionally reduces their income?

Bottom line is they need money and lots of players to make that happen. As long as they add all the main features the founders have been asking for I don't care what crazy stuff they do to get those additional players for more development money. With the current player base it will be a long grind. They need to learn to market, create buzz, and hype events and "universally popular" content like holidays and many other vetted MMO methods that will attract people from outside the current community.

It could just be a PPC that fires an orange bolt instead of a blueish-white one. But yes, having holiday-themed weapons is a bit silly.
