The Target Decay module increase the time a mech is trackable when it leaves line of sight to 2.75 sec.
But how Long is the time without the module? It is a Little difference if the time without module is 0 or 2.5 sec.

No more than 0.5 or 1 sec total.
If you are considering Target decay for a LRM boat. BUY IT that's it all.

I believe the answer is like 2 seconds, but I've never actually timed it and I don't think any dev has ever mentioned it.

So if i understand this module correct, it Keep the target on the mech when it leave the line of sight. So good for LRMs.
Now a second question. When firing indirect, does the spotter or me need the module? And what if both have it (spotter and LRM mech), do the timers add up?
Dont want to waste so many GXP for semething that might be not usefull (as Scout).

When you're firing indirectly, the spotter needs the module... but to be honest it is much more reliable if both the LRM user and the spotter uses it to maximize effectiveness.
Target Decay is the #1 module for LRM and Streak users.
