Ummmm OP is asking to always have his feet facing his Torso. No.

You can use F to Center your legs on what you are viewing.

Yes, that locks arms to your torso reticule, which helps you hit the same place with all weapons, but hurts your ability to shoot stuff off to your side in the circle-strafe brawl.

Locking your feet to your torso and only moving the arm reticule sounds neat, but I do not think there is a way to do it.

Cannot lock your feet, but you can lock your torso so you are only moving your arms - I do it to wave at people when I'm wandering between cap-points in conquest.

Hold Left-CTRL and move your mouse - the torso crosshair wont move, but your arm one will.

Edit: far more obvious on a mech like the Commando as opposed to the Jenner - and more useful to.

Left CTRL it is, but only works when the hand is not locked (options>arm lock unchecked).
Shift is for toggle between arm lock.

arm lock ON
Left CTRL > free look (look around with your head, hand locked with torso, freeze torzo)
Shift > free the arm (look around with arm and head, torso also moving)

arm lock OFF
Left CTRL > free look (look around with your head and hand, freeze torzo)
Shift > lock the arm (lock the arm and toso, torso moving)

(i'm bad at explaining, tried to put in a table, but not working :) )

I feel your pain :P

It occurred to me that I should have brought up the Arm-lock issue after I hit post... but then I figured one of the other people I saw reading it would have that mentioned before I could get a decent write-up done for it :P

Thanks for bein that guy B)
