Hello, I recently bought 2 highlanders..for leveling purpose..these are my first Assault mechs and I enjoy them really really much.. but I have one ..well, pretty weird problem with one build

I really enjoy this setup, I like weapon combo even with very clear disadvantage ..no minimal range weapon..but I am playing mostly with my friends so I can break 600-700 damage mark pretty often and stay alive. However.. i still feel bad about 3 free tons..

Can anyone find way how to fill these 3 tons without breaking this build? I know it's not always needed to have full tonnage ..but maybe there is something what I really didn't think through so I can pull even more from this build. Thank you guys.

Check this out

I removed one JJ because to me 2 is enough for maneuvering over difficult terrain or poptarting, saving you 2 tons. Then I cut down some armor on legs and arms. You don't need full armors on them because most people go straight for your CT/ST. After that I took your armor in left arm down to 4 because, hey it's empty, and then switched to standard structure for more crit slot, added one more DHS and filled more ammo on it.

It's basically the same thing you loved, with less armor on non-essential parts and more DHS/ammo.

In my opinion, a more well rounded build.

But, you were probably looking for something more like this B)

Removed 2 JJ because of above reasons
Removed Endo because you had no extra slots for the spare weight
Added BAP for better lurms
Added sink for PPC pews
Moved ammo around for safety
Retained max armor

This, for me, will be a priority target, as soon as the information on it will get. And any light will be happy to have such a gift.

first version is more universal, but for the LRM boats not enough missiles

Agreed, but OP stated that he knows about the minimum range problem and is ok with it because of his friends.
