I see a lot of people complaining about imbalanced tonnage. However, if we make tonnages equal, that puts more emphasis on heavies and assaults. You either play a big guy, or you play a little guy to squeeze in more big guys. Then the game balance will start to tip over, with attention only payed to the big guys, because that's where fine tuning the numbers will make a difference. Lights and mediums become an afterthought. We're back in MW4 then.
The true weight class balancing factor has always been capping. The lighter team can always push for a cap and expect good results. The heavier team has to focus on elimination.
The problem is that capping rewards are insanely small. Capping or preventing that needs to be the primary focus. Even in assault. Elimination needs to be the secondary objective. In order to get people to focus on capping, we need to make it MORE rewarding than killing.
If this is done you will see much more fluid gameplay, rather than the match always ending in a brawl at the center of the map.
I propose a set reward, with a time based multiplier, and a surviving enemy multiplier. The quicker you do it, with more enemies remaining to stop you, the more rewarding it should be.
Increase Capping Rewards
